Latest beta version of Nvidia App. Along with the new DLSS 4.5 Multi Frame Generation features, the software includes a beta release of a feature that allows you to automatically compile new shaders while your machine is idle.
Nvidia’s new Auto Shader Compilation system promises to “reduce the frequency of game runtime compilation after driver updates” for running users. Nvidia’s GeForce Game Ready Driver 595.97 WHQL or later. When the feature is enabled and your machine is idle, the program will automatically begin rebuilding the DirectX drivers for your games so that they all work the next time you launch them.
Although the feature is disabled by default when the Nvidia App is first downloaded, users can enable it by going to the Graphics Tab > Global Settings > Shader Cache. There, they can allocate disk space for precompiled shaders and decide how many system resources the compilation process will use. App users can also manually force a shader redraw through the app instead of waiting for the machine to idle.
