Over the past few weeks, we’ve been seeing leaks of a mysterious ANBERNIC handset with a rotating display. Yesterday we reported that the device a some new videos. Now, the latest leak may finally reveal the name of this handset.

All the leaks so far are compressed videos. However, a new leak provides a high-resolution photo showing the rear of the device. He saw Retro Dodothe photo is clear enough that we can read the text printed on the back.
Mainly to this text, the name of the handheld is “RG Rotate”. An apt name given how the 1:1 display flips upwards to reveal a hidden gamepad. We can also see that the device has a 2000mAh battery, which should provide decent gaming time depending on what you’re emulating. Before the leak, we saw that this device supports Nintendo 64 emulation, which needs quite a lot of power.
It is unclear when ANBERNIC plans to announce the RG Rotate. We don’t know yet how long it will be. Here’s hoping the lack of RAM doesn’t make the system too expensive.
