Convenience doesn’t have to come at a cost, which is why TCL says the NXTPAPER 70 Pro is $199.
At this price point, users will get a 6.9-inch FHD Plus 120Hz display Android 16. Internally, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC. Includes AI tools for transcription and summaries, as well as “true color calibration” and wide-angle circular polarization that facilitates comfortable viewing from a variety of angles.
A screen like paper for your eyes

Time NXTPAPER 70 Pro has been released In January, TCL had a lot of curious US consumers looking around because the country wasn’t mentioned. The company highlighted only Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, the Middle East and Africa, and Latin America during the initial announcement. Although North America was included, the United States was notably not. Considering the NXTPAPER 60 Ultra never did this, we were concerned.
Fortunately, with this announcement, it’s now available on T-Mobile. The NXTPAPER 70 Pro features a Color Paper Mode that offers a muted look for a paper-like display, along with the more traditional (black and white) Ink Paper Mode. TCL also implemented NXTPAPER Key. This is a physical switch on the phone that allows users to switch between Color Paper, Ink Paper and Max Ink modes.
after short demoIt was clear that the screen of the NXTPAPER 70 Pro was baked. TCL’s devices rarely debut in the US, but its eye-friendly display felt too good to pass on to my colleague Brady Snyder.
Android Central’s Take
At such a low price – $ 199 – TCL 70 Pro can attract consumers. It’s just, well, it’s not hard to see how people can be attractive elsewhere. Eye health is incredibly important, especially since we are surrounded by screens every day. Electronic paper displays are also quite common in e-readers, so we are used to this technology. My only interest is how many people are actively looking for this sort of thing for the phone.
