The 2026 Oscars are fast approaching and the most critically acclaimed films will compete in 24 categories covering acting, technical and creative.
Six at the 98th Academy Awards Netflix the films received nominations in several categories, including best film, best adapted screenplay, and best original song. Here are the Netflix nominees and the awards they received to check out before the Oscars.
Train Dreams
The dramaturgy of this period is one for centuries
Based on the 2011 novel by Denis Johnson, Train Dreams is about lumberjack and railroad worker Robert Grenier (Warrior Joel Edgerton), whose work covers the building of the nation’s expanding railroad empire in the 20th century. This takes him away from home and his wife Gladys (The theory of everything Felicity Jones) and their child. The film follows the passage of time as Robert struggles with his role in a changing world and discovers the meaning of loss and love.

Ride the Hallyu Wave with Huntrix

Faced with the threat of impending doom, Gwi-ma deploys an effective strategy to combat the Huntrich: a boy band with a heartthrob who literally and figuratively steals the souls of their fans.
