Google has made a couple weather changes to the Pixel Weather and Clock app (version 8.6).
Apart from that new icon set and background changes, the latest update to Pixel Weather also makes size adjustments to the Forecast Weather widget, which increases padding.
For example, at 5×3 – depending on your device’s Screen size – you won’t see a line further down for tomorrow’s forecast. Switching to 5×4 only gives you two (vs. three) days, and 5×5 gives you four (vs. five) days. Although you see less data, the extra space eliminates some visual errors.
Version 1.2.20251230.x of Pixel Weather widely reported last week.
Old and new
Meanwhile, the updated icon set that came with Pixel Weather is coming to Google Clock with version 8.6. World Clock releases monochrome set for color icons. This is a rollback from version 7.14 of the program last June.
This update Google Clock it’s still rolling out through the Play Store. Air integration only applies to Pixel devices.
Google also introduced a small update Google Calculator With version 9.1. No visible changes.
