you are welcome Indie App Spotlight. This is a weekly 9to5Mac series where we showcase the latest apps in the world of indie apps. If you’re a developer and want your app featured, get it in contact.
Air mini It’s a beautifully designed weather app for the entire Apple ecosystem that adds a few key features that Apple Weather misses. You can plan trips, chat with the on-device Apple Intelligence model for forecasts, and it even includes a full-featured Apple Watch app.
Best features
First things first, Air mini It uses Apple’s WeatherKit, so if you’re already an Apple Weather user, you don’t have to worry too much about the overall reliability of the data.
with Air miniyou can check Trip Forecasts. If you’re about to go on a trip, you can give Weather mini dates and it will track the weather at your destination in advance. This is quite useful as the app remembers it so you can keep checking it as you get closer to your trip. This is a great peace of mind feature.
Weather mini includes lots of great features that make it feel right at home in the Apple ecosystem, including a dock icon that tracks real-time weather on your Mac, as well as integration with Siri. There’s also a nice Apple Watch app that supports complications.
Finally, Weather mini uses Apple Intelligence models on the device, making it easy to use natural language search for forecast details. Everything about the app is privacy.
