It’s been a while since we last heard about Intel’s Battlemage GPUs. In fact, I last reported on them a year ago Intel has said it may stop making high-end cards. If you’ve liked Intel’s lineup of graphics cards and want more, here’s good news for you: the company is reportedly set to launch the Arc Pro B70 and B65 “Big Fighter” cards in less than a week. Unfortunately, if you’re hoping for a powerful gaming GPU, you may be disappointed.
Intel reportedly unveiled the Arc Pro B70 and B65 “Big Battlemage” GPUs on March 25.
But don’t expect too much from them
as claimed by VideoCardzIntel has allegedly set an embargo date for its Arc Pro B70 and B65 “Big Fighter” GPUs. If you’re looking for the next big gaming card, you may have to keep looking, as these cards are geared more toward workstations than entertainment. However, they are still quite powerful in their own right.
VideoCardz claims that both the Arc Pro B70 and B65 will have 32GB of ECC GDDR6 memory. B70 will have 32 Xe2 cores and B65 will have 20 cores. The Pro B70 will have a power rating of 160W to 290W, while the B65 will have a power rating of 200W.
VideoCardz notes that the power profile for the Pro B70 is still below the 400W claimed by the B60 Dual. Meanwhile, the Pro B65 has the same rating as the B60, so they might be quite similar, with the B65 winning in memory. Other than those specs and the March 25th date, we don’t know much else about these cards, like how much they’ll cost and when people will be able to get them.
