Lenovo introduces an awesome arcade dock for the Legion Tab (Gallery).

Lenovo’s latest generation Legion Tab went on sale in China this week, along with an awesome little arcade dock that I’d definitely buy if given the chance.

The “Legion Y700 Tablet Arcade Dock” is actually an arcade cabinet for Lenovo’s Legion Tab gaming tablets. The 8.8-inch Android tablet goes into the dock, plugs into the USB-C port, and then you’ve got a little arcade ready to play whatever you want. Android’s flexibility opens up a world of options, especially for retro game emulators.

The dock is packed with a joystick on the back, eight color buttons, and five more buttons on top, leaving the door mostly open. everything you want to play

I had a real Tony Stark “I want” moment with this one because it’s so much fun. The arcade dock’s design is full of whimsy and a retro feel, while packing all the functionality you could want. Of course there are many third party arcade style controllers there, but it’s a lot more fun.

It’s not expensive either, about $60 when converted to US dollars.

But unfortunately, it seems to only be on sale in China. Lenovo lists arcade dock in his shop for ¥399, but there’s no sign of a global release after the Legion Tab (Gen 5). It’s also a new product for Lenovo, only available for the latest generation Legion Tab (sold as the Legion Y700 in China).

If it’s something like this A neat gaming controller like Legion Tab’s Steam Deckprobably going to AliExpress and if so, I can be just need to take one. However, I hope Lenovo takes this fun with its compact Android gaming tablet in the global market as well.

Legion Tab (Gen 5) is it will be available soon in the US and worldwide for $849.
