Recently, I’ve seen a lot of people promoting programs on the forums. These are programs that they code themselves and try to monetize. There are many reasons why you shouldn’t pay for these apps.
Your data is a moment away from disaster

Coding Vibe it’s really impressive. With just a few pointers, you can get AI chatbots to build impressive apps that actually work without writing a single line of code yourself. With time and effort, you can turn your app into something that at least ostensibly does what it’s supposed to do.

Making a weekend program is not a selling point
Most of the time these vibe coded apps have dead giveaways. They include statements like “I put this together in a weekend” or “I built this solo in less than 48 hours”. This is not something to be proud of; this is a clear indication that the program was built in haste without adequate care and attention.
Real programs take time to build. If something is thrown together over a weekend, it is highly unlikely that anything will happen correct testvulnerability scanning or outlier detection. This means that when you try to do anything the developer didn’t consider, the app will crash at best, and at worst, the app can put all your data at risk.
Unfortunately, not every vibe code app makes things so clear. Some posts will try to hide the fact that the program is built using artificial intelligence. Vibe-coded apps can look polished and professional, so it’s not always easy to tell.
However, there is often a clue. People who use AI to write programs for them also often Use AI to write forum posts for them. If there’s a post promoting an app and it feels like it’s using AI, then there’s a reasonable chance the app is too.

In other words, vibe coding your own version of the app just won’t save you from paying for it. This can also make it less of a security risk.
Vibe coding has its place
Don’t get me wrong, vibe coding can be very useful. I have used it create simple applications for my personal use. That’s the whole point; There’s no reason to pay for someone else’s poorly built software if you can do it yourself.
