Samsung’s next SoC continues as the alleged Exynos 2700 performance data surfaces

What you need to know

  • An early claimed performance listing for Samsung’s Exynos 2700 suggests that it will have a 10-core build with the fastest core clocked at ~2.88GHz.
  • The chip has also been spotted with an Xclipse 970 GPU, with other rumors claiming it could see a 12% performance boost.
  • A Samsung executive said earlier this year that the company is committed to developing future Exynos chips and wants to implement it in several Galaxy devices.

It’s typical to expect a new SoC for phones every year, and it looks like Samsung isn’t slowing down with its Exynos 2700 development.

Earlier this week GSMArena Samsung’s next chip, the 2nm Exynos 2700, has reportedly appeared for the Geekbench performance test. What’s most interesting here are the details of the listing: Samsung’s basic structure for this iteration. The publication claims that it has found a chip with a 10-core CPU similar to the Exynos 2600. Galaxy S26 series in South Korea.

Android Central’s Take

Some of these clock speeds are a bit off for me. By my calculations, some of these claimed speeds are below 2600. The publication notes that this list is based on the “engineers” build, so these numbers may be slightly lower. I certainly hope so.
