- Other alleged rumors suggest that it might have the same 6.7-inch display and 4,900mAh capacity as the S25 FE version.
Now that we’ve got the S26 flagship series out of the way, rumors are turning to Samsung’s next FE.
Typically, a few steps below the entrance of the S series model, a post SamMobileafter discovering a Geekbench list claims its performance. First, the publication highlights several rumors, stating that the Galaxy S26 FE could have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Internally, the Geekbench listing suggests the phone could be powered by an Exynos 2500 chipset rather than Samsung’s latest 2600. That’s not too out of the norm, as the S25 FE also has a year-old Exynos chip (2400).
It has a chance can good, because SamMobile claims that the performance of the Galaxy S26 FE increased by eight percent in the multi-core test and ~15% in the single-core test. The numbers show that the S26 FE scored 2,426 for single-core and 8,004 for multi-core. These tests were conducted with a budget model A UI 9 (Android 17) and 8 GB of RAM.

’26 FE

On the one hand, maybe seeing Exynos 2500 rumored for the Galaxy S26 FE is a good thing. Time S25 FE releasedIt had an Exynos 2400, but so did the S24 FE. This chip is based on Samsung’s 4nm process. The company then switched to a 2nm process Exynos 2600 chip. This is still speculation; however, it would be nice to see the rumored S26 FE drop the 2600. The chip boasts a major 39% increase in CPU capabilities over the 2500, with stronger AI performance and double the GPU output.
Making these early rumors laugh, the S26 FE is rumored to feature the same triple camera array as its predecessor. The display and battery are also the same as last year’s numbers. So, consumers are probably ready for other improvements on the software side. The Galaxy S25 FE didn’t go on sale until September, so we’re still half a year away from seeing this year’s version.
Android Central’s Take
Samsung tried to weave in flagship quality features with the Galaxy S25 FE, which helps the budget-oriented phone feel a little more powerful. Seven years of OS and security updates are also promised, which has become Samsung’s norm lately. Given that – for now – rumors suggest mostly similar phone hardware, perhaps more are on the table. I should also mention that phone prices tend to increase due to RAM, so its price point will be another aspect to watch. The S25 FE debuted at $649.
