The largest Apple museum in Europe opens in the Netherlands

The Apple Museum in Utrecht opened a few days ago, just in time Apple’s 50th anniversary celebrations. Here’s what visitors can find there.

If you find yourself in Utrecht, the Netherlands, you might want to keep up with the latest Apple MuseumIt was officially opened to the public on April 2.

Home to one of the largest Apple collections in the world, the museum has several themed spaces spread over 21,000 square feet, including a reproduction of the famous garage at Steve Jobs’ parents’ home.

The Apple Museum tells the story of Apple through products and themed spaces, including the Think Different corridor, and explores Steve Jobs’ time away from Apple and his years at NeXT.

The Apple Museum is the result of a collaboration between Ed Bindels, entrepreneur and founder and chairman of the Apple Museum Foundation, and a group of more than 50 volunteers, including technicians, collectors and historians, who help assemble and curate the collection.

Together, we have carefully curated thousands of items, including an extensive collection from the former Apple Museum in Westerbork, and laid the foundation for a truly exceptional visitor experience.

For those planning a visit, the Apple Museum is open most days except Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with admission every 15 minutes and last admission at 4:00 PM. It is located at Proostwetering 5d, 3543 AB, Utrecht, The Netherlands, parking is available at P1.
