It’s only been a week since Samsung’s launch Galaxy S26 seriesand now that the dust has settled, we want to know which model you plan to buy. Do you want the smallest Galaxy S26, the larger mid-range Galaxy S26 Plus or the largest and premium Galaxy S26 Ultra? The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is not a big difference from its predecessor in terms of design. There are notable changes to the devices, such as a more unified design language as well as an updated camera design with the main trio of sensors sitting in a vertical housing.
Apart from the design, there are a number of notable specifications for each phone. Equipped with S26 series Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for GalaxyIt sees some impressive gains over Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip. As always, the base will be equipped with S26 and Plus Exynos 2600 in selected markets.
The base Galaxy S26 remains the smallest model, but the screen size has increased from 6.2 to 6.3 inches compared to its predecessor. Galaxy S25. It also has a 4,300mAh battery, twice the size of its predecessor, and 256GB of main storage.
The Galaxy S26 Plus gets the fewest changes this generation, with faster 20W wireless charging. Otherwise, apart from the new Snapdragon processor, it is almost unchanged from its predecessor. However, for those who need the extra real estate, you still get a large battery, 45W fast charging and a large screen.
Then there’s the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which introduced the first Privacy Screen in a smartphone. This is a new feature that uses a unique array of pixels on the screen to hide content from viewers. It’s customizable, so it can only work in certain apps or only in notifications, negating the need for a separate privacy screensaver.
The Galaxy S26 also has improved main and telephoto cameras with wider apertures for better night-time and low-light shooting.
Of course, these new smartphones also come with improved Search Circle, improved conversational Bixby, new AI photo editing features and improvements to Galaxy AI with agent. Twins can run errands on your behalf.
It all looks and sounds great, though keep in mind that the S26 and S26 Plus cost $100 more in the US, meaning you’re paying a higher premium for these upgrades.
