They’ve created a cute little internet radio powered by a Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.54-inch LCD development board that costs about $15. If you really wanted to, you could squeeze a 1000 mAh battery into the case for a portable radio, but if you wanted to, you could just plug it in.
Although the screen looks like a classic Winamp player, it is actually made using the LovyanGFX and Arduino GFX libraries. That’s good because it means you get all the soothing and nostalgic visuals of Winamp without running decades-old software on your ESP32. The Winamp buttons even match the three buttons on top of the case for easy navigation.

The board uses Wi-Fi to catch Internet stations for playback, and you can use an SD card to download music offline if you want.
