Well, it didn’t take long: less than two weeks after the last episode Witch hat workshop season one has aired, we already have a trailer for season two. Given that, this isn’t much of a surprise The largest anime convention in North America is currently ongoing and Witch hat workshop was a favorite of the spring anime season. It was simply impossible not to fall in love with Coco, a young witch who unlocks the secret of magic with tenacity and a little mischief.
Although Witch hat workshop‘s laid-back vibes, though there’s a dark undertone running through it, with a malicious group of wayward witches known as the Brimmed Caps threatening to upend the delicate balance between witches and the rest of the world. The trailer for season two sets a darker vibe for the show, with Coco seen in a flowing black dress and, even more depressingly, a brimmed hat.
Witch hat workshop Based on the manga series of the same name by Kamome Shirahama. Its description is as follows:
In a world where only witches can cast spells, they must avoid being seen by commoners when shooting. While doing her chores, Coco dreams of becoming a witch. When a young witch named Guifrey arrives in her village, Coco discovers an “absolute secret”, becomes Guifrey’s apprentice, and begins her education. This is a story of children who face despair but reach for hope.
The first season ended on a big cliffhanger, so it’s no surprise that production company Bug Films is jumping into season two. Hopefully this means there won’t be too long a break between seasons. The people demand more Brushbuddy, stat.
Witch hat workshop a second season is still in production with no set release date.
