Galaxy Z Fold 8 prices leaked and what do we do?

Peak ironic comedy. That’s how I’d describe the leaked pricing for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, as Samsung’s all-new ‘Wide’ device will be cheaper than the ‘Ultra’, which got a price hike for no reason.

According to the news WinFutureThe Galaxy Z Fold 8 range will start at the same €1,999 as its predecessor, but that’s for an all-new wide form factor, with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 “UItra” – you know, almost unchanged – going up to €2,199, a €100 price hike.

What are we doing?

The Galaxy Z Flip 8 probably gets a price increase of up to €100, starting at €1,299.

Here’s how the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series prices break down, at least in Germany, according to the report.

Still, it’s worth noting that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is Samsung’s new wider form factor officially started teasingsomething brand new to the line. And it’s the same price as last year (below Price increase in early 2026). Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is virtually unchanged from the Fold 7 and growing. it is very expensive.

Looking at the big picture, here are some partial explanations. The “Ultra” physically has more hardware, too, with a third camera that’s completely missing from the larger model bigger battery. But it’s still a tough pill to swallow considering the wider device is completely new to Samsung’s lineup, where the Ultra is actually a minor update to last year’s model.

But then again what aren’t price hikes getting now? On that note, the report also dropped prices for the Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2, which increased by around 10%.
