A day after learning what Google plans to do Raise prices for the Pixel 11 The same leaker has now revealed that Google has increased the prices of the Pixel Watch 5 models.
Yesterday, Google confirmed that it would is hosting a launch event on August 12 18:00 ET. The company is expected to launch both the Pixel 11 series and the Pixel Watch 5 models at the event, and now we have a few more details on the latter.
according to DealabsThe Pixel Watch 5 series will remain the same sizes we’ve seen before, at 41mm and 45mm. However, it looks like Google is going to increase the prices by $50. That means the 41mm Pixel Watch 5 is expected to start at $399 in the US, while the 45mm model is expected to start at $429.
Expect the LTE variants to cost $100 more than the non-cellular versions.

Given the rising cost of memory components, it’s not hard to see why Google is raising prices. Budget devices tend to get hit the hardest, and unfortunately the Pixel Watch 5 falls into that category. It’s also worth noting that this is the first price hike for the Pixel Watch series since its initial launch.
On top of the assessment, a new report New Mobile The Pixel Watch 5 series claims to be available in four colors this year: Natural Silver, Dark Anthracite, Warm Gold and Pyrite.
Notably, the leak claims that the silver and gold variants will be polished, while the anthracite and pyrite will be matte. According to the leak, the gold color will only be available on the smaller 41mm model, not the 45mm version.
Yesterday we all saw Google’s teaser confirming this Pixel 11 series will be in gold, so this new gold Pixel Watch option is meant to complement it. That said, I’m not entirely sold here, as the polished gold finish can be a real scratch magnet.
Either way, things should become clearer in the coming days, with Google set to announce the new Pixel lineup in just over a month.
