TL;DR
- A new leak shows the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra’s crease-free display in real life.
- The leaked phone doesn’t show a noticeable wrinkle.
Samsung is preparing to introduce a new generation of foldable phones July 22and we expect to see the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 alongside the new Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2. However, we have already seen a bunch leaked renderingsa new real-world leak gives us our first look at the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra’s crease-free display.
The leaker shared a video called Momentary Digital Weibo It shows the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra’s crease-free display in action, and it looks pretty impressive. In the video, the phone is seen from different angles and the crease is not visible at all.

The immersive video screen continues to display with video playback, and even then, it’s very difficult to detect wrinkles on the phone. It seems that Samsung has figured out how to make the Fold 8 Ultra’s screen truly crease-free.
Note that we do not know how many times the phone in the video was folded and unfolded. Wrinkles in foldable displays can deteriorate over time, so the Z Fold 8 Ultra may develop wrinkles after regular use. However, the leak makes me even more hopeful that we can finally get a wrinkle-free experience on Samsung’s flagship foldable phone.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to arrive in a year Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a 5000 mAh battery. It may also be equipped with a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. US pricing details leaked As for Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones, it suggests that the Z Fold 8 Ultra could be $100 more expensive than the Z Fold 7, costing $2,099.
Samsung will announce the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22. We should have more details as we get closer to that date and will update you with any noteworthy information.
