The Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 ports for PS4 and PS5 it was met with great hype and excitement. But guess what? They are a mess. Who would have guessed?
Just anyone who has tried to play backwards compatible versions on Xbox consoles in recent memory. Collectively, it means “I told you so” because we knew it would happen.
The only difference is that the “shiny new” ports on the PlayStation get some kind of active support from Activision. Because Black Ops has disabled some playlists while “issues” are being investigated.
The issues are simple: hackers. you think Black operation 7 Do hackers have a bad rap? Without modern anticheat technologies, old games are like the Wild West.

It never takes new ports to be compromised, which shows how lazy they are. We’re not just talking about wallhacks, although those are bad enough.
Gamers are full of lobbies full of exploitative players. Some are instant max prestige, everything is unlocked, ridiculous stats, and perhaps worst of all for legit players, the “negative XP” hack reportedly drops players to level 1.
I love both of these games, but from the get-go I saw nothing more than cashing in on player nostalgia for the old games we love so much. Call of Duty did not have the best reception. But they’re not “new”, are they? They are the same old games we can play on Xbox.
i saw Question on Reddit Potentially related to the latest hype, an Xbox gamer asked if Black Ops 2 was worth buying. At full price, the only answer is no. If you want to enjoy multiplayer, I’d say the answer is no. If you can get a cheap disc to enjoy the campaign and Zombies? Of course.
But at least it gives support to Activision for offering support on these ports. How long they will last and how far they will go, we will probably find out. But that’s more than what we’ve seen on Xbox with their existing versions for a long time.
