As someone who bought my first Mac in 2019 as a young student without much money MacBook Neo it’s incredibly inspiring. Time M4 Mac mini It came out towards the end of 2024, I already felt very strong about potential to inspire young creators – and MacBook Neo that’s how far it goes.
MacBook Neo makes creativity affordable
In my case I bought a 2015 11 inch MacBook Air Used in 2019 for about $450. This thing had 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a dual-core 5th generation Intel Core i5. There was nothing amazing about it, but it did one thing – it works on macOS and thus allowed me to start building my first iOS apps.
Was it a great experience? Far from it. I even dealt with the bug-ridden macOS Catalina. It doesn’t make sense, because in the end, ability is what matters.
MacBook Neo there is no such compromise. For all intents and purposes, an A18 Pro is equivalent to the multi-core original M1 chip and greatly outperforms the M1 in a single core. The chip is no slouch, even though it’s just an “iPhone chip.”
Many complain about this fact MacBook Neo there is only 8 GB of memory. And I sure won’t pretend there are many. This is a limit. That said, I’m also not going to make it a bad value for students at $499.
Even if you scour the used market, you’ll be hard-pressed to find an M2 or M3 MacBook Air For about $500-$600 with 16GB. Maybe you can find it M1 MacBook Airhowever M1 MacBook Air it’s about 6 years old at this point and probably not a good buy if you care about longevity.
Comfort without any compromise

A desk is just not comfortable.
If you’re a student or just a young, creative wannabe, simply being able to work from anywhere is incredibly valuable, and that’s what a laptop buys you.
You can travel in a park, in the back of a car, on a plane or anywhere else. The thing is, creativity can affect anywhere, and that’s the value of having a laptop over a desktop.
MacBook Neo It’s not a flagship device, but it’s no slouch either.
