Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 It was one of the biggest and best games of 2025 and players fell in love with it. For fans of the game’s art style, a book that collects them all will be coming to North America soon for your viewing pleasure.
Publishers UDON and Pix’n Love teamed up for a new version of the game’s art book. It has been adapted into English, after previously being only in French, and will be available in standard and collector’s editions. Both feature concept art, design notes, and developer insights from Sandfall, but the $100 collector’s edition has some extras. These goodies include a gold cardboard box in the colors of Alicia’s mask, a cardboard briefcase with game footage on textured paper and exclusive artwork.
“This exclusive large-format hardcover brings together over 300 pages of hundreds of never-before-seen documents and illustrations used to create one of the most exciting games of recent years,” the description reads. “This art book takes readers on an extraordinary human and creative adventure.”
Compared to combat and story, the art Expedition 33 it doesn’t get much attention, but it’s amazing. It seems too good to be true: in February, Polygon It reported an incident where a small art book was included in a player’s collector’s edition of the game that was held at Iraqi customs because the pages contained “paintings of monetary value”. Gamer, Reddit user Ahmed15252laughed, calling it a “10/10 experience, will definitely accidentally import history again.”
Both versions Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 the art book will be released on November 25. Pre-orders will go live this Monday, March 23rd on UDON, IGN, and Pix’n Love.
