TL;DR

We’re just days — hours, even — away from Samsung’s next thing Galaxy Unpacked eventwhen, expect to see it this wednesday introduce the latest Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Flip and Galaxy Watch models. But while we’re excited about these releases, they’re not the only new Samsung products on our radar right now. Looking a bit further afield, we also expect some new tablets Galaxy Tab S12 series, as well as introducing the next addition to the Galaxy S26 family Galaxy S26 FE. While they’ll likely have to wait for another Samsung event, we have some early evidence that the preparations for their arrival are well underway.

There are many places where we can expect a new device to appear and make its presence felt before the official launch. FCC certification documents is the best example out there, or perhaps any of the various agencies confirm the batteries. But there’s something else we’ve seen a certain new class of hardware show up over and over again: a built-in list of devices built to offer their owners within the Google app. free trial of a paid Google AI account.
Just as you’d expect, the Flip 8 and Fold 8 models are already there. But we also saw a few new additions:

Certainly, the Tab S12 and S26 FE (both of which are missing from the Galaxy) appear now. While this doesn’t give us anything close to a firm ETA for either, it does support the idea that we’re closing in on both being official too soon.
However, we can make a few guesses, and if Samsung sticks to anything resembling its past schedule, we’ll probably be looking at a September launch for both companies this September. Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy Tab S11 series.
At the very least, that feels like the most likely outcome here, but it’s entirely possible that we could see them land earlier — the Fold 8 and Flip 8 appeared on this list about a week ago, which could indicate that Samsung is planning to move things around in August. Right now, this is mostly speculation, and we’ll want to wait for something a little more concrete before we start getting ready to place our pre-orders.
