Apple just hosted a September event, it announced iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4and more. But there was a surprise new product from Beats that wasn’t mentioned in the keynote: iPhone 16 cases.
These Beats branded cases are naturally designed to protect your precious new device. They’re rocking a hard-shell polycarbonate back”. It’s a sturdy plastic that’s likely to survive a decent drop. They’re compatible with Camera Control, though, which is a big plus.
Of course, Apple didn’t forget about MagSafe — these cases are fully equipped with it, too. What’s more, Apple wants you to know that they’re “built precisely” for the iPhone 16. So they should hug your phone like a second skin, caressing its buttons and edges very carefully.

If you want a bit of choice, you have four colorways to choose from: Midnight Black, The capstone, Riptide Blueand Sunset Purple. At $49 a pop (that’s about £39 or €46), they’re in line with Apple’s other offerings, but sprinkled with this Beats flavor. If you’re quick in the drawing, you can get your hands on one on Wednesday.
What else is new from Apple?
The iPhone 16 the launch event saw a lot of announcements from Apple. The new iPhones have a new Camera Control that gives better access to taking photos and videos. The screens in the group are better and more durable than ever. Apple is in love with new colors this year, and there are plenty to choose from.
Apple Watch Series 10 was a big upgrade with a bigger screen than ever before. The case is the slimmest ever, things are faster inside and it moves the antennas to the back of the case. Apple Watch Ultra 2 received a new color option and the third-generation Apple Watch SE never materialized.
AirPods have also seen some big changes. AirPods 4 gain active noise cancellation and launch the cheaper $129 model without ANC. AirPods Max gets a minor update with USB-C and new colors, while AirPods Pro 2 gets a third iteration with new hearing technology.
