Comedy "The Dink" premieres on Apple TV

Apple TV subscribers can now watch ‘Dink,’ the platform’s new all-star sports comedy from Ben Stiller. Watch the trailer below.

‘Dink‘ is now available to stream on Apple TV, starring Jake Johnson (Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed), Mary Steenburgen (Step Brothers), Ed Harris (A cliff), Chloe Fineman (Home Team), Lennon Markham (Terrible bosses 2), Chris Parnell (Lorne) and Ben Stiller (Stiller and Meara: Nothing is lost), among others.

The scriptwriter of the film is Sean Clements (Businessmen) and director Josh Greenbaum (To be Bond), among textured producers with Stiller and Johnson.

Washed-up ex-tennis prodigy Dusty Boyd (Jake Johnson) starts coaching unruly kids at his father Chuck’s (Ed Harris) suburban country club. Desperate for his father’s approval, Dusty blindly supports Chuck’s vendetta against the new hottie who has taken over the club: acid ball. But when Dusty aggravates an old injury and takes away his ability to play tennis, he does the unthinkable in the name of rehabilitation. Not only does he have a salty ball, but he actually enjoys it, thanks to his charming new partner Candace (Mary Steenburgen). Caught between two worlds, Dusty is finally forced to confront the ghosts of his past athletic failures, including his childhood nemesis Andy Roddick. Ultimately, Dusty is drawn into a desperate battle for the club’s future, his father’s love, and his identity.
