“Interview with the Vampire” is back for a 4th season



bye Vampire Lestat. hi, Queen of the Damned. Interview with the vampire renewed for a fourth season based on the third book Anne Riceof The Vampire Chronicles series. Queen of the Damned revolves around Akasha (Sheila Atim), the mother of all vampires, and follows her from her time as a pre-Egyptian queen to the modern day. No spoilers, but he’s not happy about almost everything, and he’s pretty powerful to boot. Check out the teaser trailer below.

AMC announced the news at a San Diego Comic-Con 2026 panel Vampire Lestat. In a press release, Dan McDermott, Chief Content Officer of AMC Global Media and President of AMC Studios, said, “In Vampire LestatMark (Johnson, executive producer), Rolin (Jones, executive producer), Hannah (Moscovitch, executive producer) and this extraordinary cast delivered an unforgettable season full of exciting stories that captivated the passionate and engaged fans of this franchise. We can’t wait to continue our journey Queen of the DamnedIt’s one of the most iconic stories in Anne Rice’s mythology, and watch as our established and beloved characters confront Akasha, their worlds, and ours in the balance.”

Moscovitch will serve as showrunner Queen of the Damnedtook over from Jones, who created the series and was the showrunner for the first three seasons. Vampire Lestat It ended its run last week and ended on a big cliffhanger that would lead directly Queen of the Damned.
