According to Apple System Status page, the following services are subject to partial interruption:
- App Store: Some users are affected. Users will not be able to make purchases on the iTunes Store, Mac App Store, and App Store.
- AppleCare on the device: All users are affected. AppleCare purchase is temporarily unavailable.
- iTunes Store: Some users are affected. Users will not be able to make purchases on the iTunes Store, Mac App Store, and App Store.
- Mac App Store: Some users are affected. Users will not be able to make purchases on the iTunes Store, Mac App Store, and App Store.
- Subscription purchase: Some users are affected Users may experience intermittent problems with this service.
All issues begin and continue at 7:40 PM ET. Likewise, Apple Developer System Status page lists 2 ongoing issues starting at 7:20 PM ET:
- App Store – Enhanced Commerce API: Some users are affected. Affected services: App Store – Advanced Commerce API, App Store – In-App Purchases. We are currently undergoing an emergency maintenance to improve the performance of the system. We estimate that maintenance will take two hours.
- App Store – In-App Purchases: Some users are affected. Affected services: App Store – Advanced Commerce API, App Store – In-App Purchases. We are currently undergoing an emergency maintenance to improve the performance of the system. We estimate that maintenance will take two hours.
Apple said emergency maintenance affecting developer services should take about two hours, but did not provide an estimated resolution time for outages directly affecting users.
