
The iPhone 16 the launch event saw a lot of announcements from Apple. The new iPhones have a new Camera Control that gives better access to taking photos and videos. The screens in the group are better and more durable than ever. Apple is in love with new colors this year, and there are plenty to choose from.
Apple Watch Series 10 was a big upgrade with a bigger screen than ever before. The case is the slimmest ever, things are faster inside and it moves the antennas to the back of the case. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 got a new color option, and the third-generation Apple Watch SE never materialized.
AirPods have also seen some big changes. AirPods 4 gain active noise cancellation and launch the cheaper $129 model without ANC. AirPods Max gets a minor update with USB-C and new colors, while AirPods Pro 2 gets a third iteration with new hearing technology.

But the latest Apple event doesn’t just mark the launch of Apple’s latest devices; also marks the end of a batch of products.
Every Apple product has been discontinued after the iPhone 16 incident
While everyone was focused on everything that was announced at the iPhone 16 event, I dived into the products that Apple discontinued after the event. Here’s all I’ve found so far:
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
- AirPods (2nd generation)
- AirPods (3rd generation)
- Apple Watch series 9
- iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 mini
- FineWoven iPhone 16 Cases (So Far)
While an online Target listing makes us think Apple’s wired EarPods might be on sale, they’re still available at the Apple store. Those who prefer wires can use Apple’s $19 headphones for a while longer.
