Walmart is making a Google TV Streamer clone, TVs

Walmart is developing new Google TV products, including a set-top box that is a follow-up to the Onn 4K Pro, as well as TVs equipped with the Google platform.

as shared New images have surfaced by a semi-anonymous account on Reddit showing the second generation of Walmart’s Onn 4K Pro set-top box working with Google TV.

The new design features a wider base and rounded top, USB-C, USB-A, HDMI and Ethernet ports on the back, as well as a physical mute switch. The design is more similar to the Google TV Streamer than the previous generation Onn 4K Pro Launched in 2024.

As Walmart’s stock of existing Google TV products has recently disappeared, a follow-up to the affordable box has been rumored.

The source of the images was not shared, but the account has a history of sharing Google TV details from regulatory sources and is also a moderator of the r/AndroidTV and r/GoogleTV communities.

Considering this, another post refers to Bluetooth from the same account lists (page 39) for several different “Onn Google TV” TVs. In other words, Walmart makes Onn-branded TVs equipped with Google TV. KTC is not a particularly popular brand on its own, but it acts as an ODM for several brands including Lenovo.

It’s not clear when these TVs will be released, but it’s a surprising development Walmart to buy Vizio in 2024offers its own operating system. TV line sizes include 55- to 75-inch options.
