Apple will announce results for the second fiscal quarter of 2026 on Thursday, April 30. What to expect.
The Mac is set to play an important role, for better or worse
Apple announced today that it will report its Q2 2026 earnings on Thursday, April 30.
After Apple releases its quarterly results, Tim Cook and CFO Kevan Parekh are expected to discuss the company’s performance and take questions from analysts.
last year, Apple reported $95.4 billion in revenue for the period, up 5.13% from 2Q2024. It was the last fiscal quarter before President Trump began his tariff war against China, which has affected every earnings report since then.
For Q2 2026, Parekh said he expects Apple’s total revenue to grow 13 to 16 percent year-over-year, indicating that Apple expects to report between $107.8 billion and $110.7 billion for the period.
The upcoming earnings announcement will be the first since the release of the MacBook Neo, although its release date has been pushed to the end of the second quarter of 2026.
However, over the past three months, Apple has seen an increase in Mac mini sales thanks to the success of OpenClaw and similar projects, and it will be interesting to see if this has a meaningful impact on overall Mac revenue.
Last year, Apple reported $7.95 billion in Mac revenue.
Another factor that can affect the results is the lack of components. Last quarter, Apple said the impact on its margins would be more pronounced in the March quarter, and its guidance for Q2 2026 already reflected pricing pressure from supply constraints.
