
Another series of cards described certain immigration offenses and related federal charges: passport abuse, visa fraud or abuse, and checkpoint evasion. Voluntary return, expedited removal, and expungement warrant cards to countries outside the United States outline the forms to fill out and then offer a checklist reminder on something called an “agents’ Resource Page” to ensure “all of the above is correct.”
“We take reports of sensitive or inappropriate content seriously and act immediately when content is found to violate our policies,” a Quizlet spokesperson said in a statement. “We encourage anyone who encounters the material to report it directly from the flashcard set, classroom or profile page, or contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.”
Other cards offered detailed information about the Kingsville workforce’s 1,932-square-mile area of responsibility, including six county lines, and the agency’s internal grid and zone organizational system. The map notes that a network “does not exist” due to the structure of local highways.
Another card named 11 CBP “towers” in the area. (Some of the tower names correspond to gates and codes that WIRED maintains because of their potential confidentiality.) The card lists the abbreviated names of two towers and the shared responsibility area of a third tower.
The final card apparently detailed the internal system, E3 BEST, which allows officers to “record, investigate and prosecute secondary referrals at USBP checkpoints” by allowing officers to “interview subjects and vehicles simultaneously through multiple law enforcement databases and generate e3 Incidents for referrals resulting in an arrest.”
