I’ve said this many times, but when it comes to a dock or docking station, it’s all about the ports available. This model is quite equipped with a front panel with two USB-A, one SD card and a microSD card reader.
There are three USB-A ports, an HDMI, a DisplayPort and a USB-C port on the back. That USB-C port is open to connect to a Mac mini. On the bottom of the dock is an M.2 SSD slot that can be used to expand the Mac mini’s storage.
We think it’s a pretty versatile dock, especially for a Mac mini that only comes with USB-C ports. Although it is quite simple, it provides many ports that are used every day that Apple does not include. And at this price, it’s pretty easy to pick up just to try.
