While it’s not uncommon for networks to promote new shows by releasing full episodes on YouTube, AMC is doing something a little different with its Silicon Valley-focused comedy The Audacity.
The show will premiere on TikTok from Sunday morning. It will be divided into 21 segments, each lasting about three minutes. As per the deadline. The segments will be numbered, allowing users to watch the entire premiere if they choose.
This is the chief marketing officer of AMC network described as the biggest release of the year. Or it could just be a weird attempt Rebuild Quibi.
Created by Jonathan Glatzer and starring Billy Magnussen and Sarah Goldberg, The Audacity does not depict real companies or executives, but aims to provide a darkly comedic look at the many issues posed by today’s technology.
If you don’t want to watch the three-minute segments, you can watch the full premiere on AMC and its streaming service AMC+. It will also be broadcast on Samsung’s free service Samsung TV Plus.
