While there’s nothing major in iOS 27, there will still be a few light customization features, one of which will let you quickly undo and redo changes to your home screen.
Easier customization in iOS 27
according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in this weekend’s Power On newsletteriOS 27 will add a new home screen toggle that allows users to undo and redo changes on the home screen. This link currently allows you to add widgets, change your icon theme, and more. will be available in the same customization menu used for From the report:
In the category of modest improvements, Apple is testing a tweak on the home screen in iOS 27, which can be useful for those who frequently tweak icon and widget layouts. Currently, when you long press on the home screen, you get a bubble in the top left corner with four options: Add Widget, Customize, Edit Wallpaper, and Edit Pages. Apple is working on adding “undo” and “redo” buttons to that menu to make it easier to undo or redo changes.
So from now on – if you want to make a home screen change that you’re not quite sure about, Apple will let you easily revert it. Similarly, if you reverse something you really like, you can return it. It’s unclear how far back the undo/redo history will go, but it will certainly be useful for fast redo.
Apart from this new undo and redo feature, iOS 27 will add a new one Liquid Glass slider – in addition to today’s current Clear and Tinted options, lets you customize your Liquid Bottle exactly how you want it to look.
As mentioned earlier, iOS 27 will be the real focus improved performance and stabilitywill likely result better battery life also.
