Motorola has already sold enough of its next-generation Razr phones, but that won’t stop them from releasing a new teaser confirming the Razr (2026)’s April 29th release date and new colors.
The Razr (2026) series is hardly a secret. The phones were showcased at CES 2026 alongside the company’s first book-style foldable devices. Since then, we’ve seen leaks comparing it to previous models, even going so far as to point out A larger profile of the Razr Ultra.
To bolster plans to pre-order the phone, Motorola released a statement teaser Video on Twitter/X. The 12-second video features detailed footage of what could be new colorways for the series. It looks like even the red Motorola Edge is working in the mix.
The most notable bezels feature a purple hue with what appear to be two devices. The first color shot doesn’t look like any part of the Motorola Razr (2026), except for what could be the camera panel visible in the top corner. The video later shows a purple device with a similar bezel, and it’s definitely the Razr (2026). Apparently, the choice of material is different and looks a little less luxurious.
There is also a black fabric and a green model. Both of these options look great, but it’s not a departure from Motorola’s previous design choices in the Razr series.
The most important part is the date. Motorola has confirmed that these devices will be announced on April 29. Earlier we had seen reports that the phone will go on sale on May 21st. The official date in the video is probably the pre-order launch.
Other leaks suggest that the phones could be sold at higher prices. The most affordable Razr model can be sold for $799, and the Razr Ultra for $1,499.
