Isolation 2′ keeps you coming back for more

Today is Alien Day, and surprisingly, that means we got our first bite Alien: Isolation 2.

Developer Creative Assembly released a short video titled “False Sense of Security” on Sunday morning. It opens in a dark room with red flashing light as the camera slowly pushes in. When the light hits green, the doors open to briefly reveal a rainy city, followed by a close-up of the Emergency phone, the first game’s rescue stations. We will have to wait for answers to what city it is and how many people are in danger. Even the description of the video is cryptic – it simply says “The feeling of being safer than someone”.

It almost was two years ago One announced by the Creative Assembly Alien: Isolation a sequel was in early development. The original game was released in 2014 and put players in the shoes of Amanda Ripley, searching for her mother Ellen and getting caught up in the Xenomorph nonsense. A well-reviewed and solid seller, it seemed one and done until 2024 when the studio announced a sequel. The fact that Fede Alvarez is a fan of the game probably didn’t hurt either, and voted in Alien: Romulus.

We will have more Alien: Isolation 2-or whatever it’s called-as soon as the news breaks.
