Lego’s “Ideas” line—based on user-generated and fan-supported design suggestions—is always in the review cycle, with many sets approved but still available. long queue actually do. So perhaps it’s no surprise that Lego’s latest review only added a few to this list… especially since the last review cycle was a record breaker for the ideas presented.
Lego today confirmed the results 2025 is the result of a second wave of submissions for Lego Ideas since its inception as Lego CUUSOO in 2008. After this platform, 146 candidates qualified for consideration and several ideas began to circulate on social media. 2023.
A bit of a shock, with so many ideas to consider, Lego decided to lock in only 3 of the 146 sets to be official sets: Edward Scissorhands shown by Idea user Castor-Troya National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation appointed by twrt0esand unlicensed pitch, inspired by the canal houses of Amsterdam, by Brickmaster_85. As always, the designs below will be tweaked in the process of becoming official kits, so don’t take these images as a guaranteed preview of the final product.
Although they were the only 3 sets to emerge from this round, they weren’t the only ones confirmed this time around. Lego also announced a fourth set to be pulled from what the brickmaker calls “Parking Lot” — a list of idea projects that Lego is potentially interested in pursuing but needs more time beyond the review period. Replacing it on the lot in the most recent round was a Lego work of art. Removing 142 submissions at once might seem like a lot, but it’s clear that Lego can’t add up too causing a backlog of approved Ideas as the review cycle continues. At the time of writing, there are still 13 sets confirmed before today’s additions (with 3 more held in the Parking Lot), including inspired sets. Godzilla, ET, Power Rangersand more.
