Google releases Android 17 QPR1 Beta 2 for Pixel


Only two weeks later first lookGoogle releases Android 17 QPR1 Beta 2.

The following issues are resolved:

  • Fixed an issue where the terminal program would not launch, resulting in an unsolvable error pop-up and an endless download. (Issue #501751748)
  • Fixed a display issue where the date and weather information overlapped with the fingerprint sensor area on the lock screen. (Release #498106709)
  • Terminating the third active call from the head unit incorrectly disconnects the current conference call participant instead of the intended call. (Release #481492536)
  • Fixed an issue where mobile signal bars would incorrectly display as blank or gray despite an active connection, preventing users from accurately measuring network signal strength. (Release #488358813)
  • Custom themed app icons appear incorrectly enlarged on the home screen when returning from an app. (Release #453458883, Release #452939724, Issue #473509945)
  • Addresses a bug in the F2FS file system that could result in data corruption or unexpected system instability. (Release #498762380)
  • Fixed a UI issue that caused visual instability or crashes when moving apps on the recent items screen. (Release #485468312, Release #496828676, Issue #498193454)
  • Fixed an issue where navigation bar swipe gestures could not switch between recent apps. (Issue #494847234)
  • Fixed an issue where Bluetooth tethering would be disabled after a device restart or Bluetooth cycle, requiring users to manually re-enable internet sharing for connected devices. (Release #371660785)
