While video game adaptations on film or TV are often pretty disappointing, the last few years have been an incredibly enjoyable departure. Both Season 1 and Season 2 were huge hits with long-time fans of the franchise and newcomers to the series, and didn’t fall short. onehowever two Revivals for IP.
Indeed, it is no exaggeration to say so record breaker and chart-topping the show received a phenomenal reception – and now everyone is eagerly awaiting the next chapter of the story that comes with Season 3. The third season has just started filming and is expected to arrive in late 2027 or early 2028.

Paul was so great in Breaking Bad and El Camino that Jesse Pinkman became my favorite of all the incredibly written characters in the series. I’ve loved him in pretty much everything I’ve seen so far, so I’m excited to see what role he plays in Fallout.
Some fans speculate that he might play Courier 6, the name of the playable character you control in Obsidian Entertainment’s fan-favorite 2010 title. Fallout: New Vegas; Personally, I find it difficult since then showrunners have stated that they don’t want to spoil player choices with their storiesand to make Courier 6 a defined character in any way would be against it. Unless the character makes a brief cameo, I don’t see it.
Ultimately, we don’t have any details to work with, so any predictions are pure guesswork. Again, I’m sure Paul will do a great job no matter what the role he played considering his talent. I’m looking forward to seeing him in Fallout Season 3 and can’t wait for him to arrive in the next year and a half or so.
Oh, and fun fact: Aaron Paul is a huge fan of video games and has discussed his love for the franchise before. Resident Evil and Hello. He also starred in the 2025 narrative adventure game Dispatch and has expressed interest in future game roles.
