Xbox and developer Playground Games‘ Forza Horizon 6 has been officially released and is now available to anyone who has purchased the Premium Edition and has Early Access, and players from all over the world are racing to enjoy everything that Japan’s expansive and vivid imagery has to offer – sights to see, multiplayer activities to engage in, challenges to complete and cars to unlock.
What is available at the beginning is just the beginning. On May 21 – two days later Full release date and release times for Forza Horizon 6 May 19 — Playground Games presents the first Festival Playlist Series 1 of the arcade racer Welcome to Japan. Series 1 will include 10 new cars you can earn, and four of the 30 exclusive cars from the Car Pass ($30, included in Deluxe and Premium Editions), which slowly unlocks every passing week.
- 2008 Mazda Furai: May 21 – June 18, 80 points
- 2010 Nissan 370Z: May 21 – June 18, 120 points
- 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z EDITION: May 21 – May 28, 20 points
- 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR: May 21 – May 28, 40 points
- 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec: May 28 – June 4, 20 points
- 1991 Honda CR-X SiR: May 28 – June 4, 40 points
- 2019 Subaru STI S209: June 4 – June 11, 20 points
- 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37: June 4 – June 11, 40 points
- 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V: June 11 – June 18, 20 points
- 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5: June 11 – June 18, 40 points
Except for the 2008 Mazda Furai and the 2010 Nissan 370Z, all Series 1 vehicles require only 20 or 40 points. Therefore, unlocking them shouldn’t be too difficult, although the aforementioned pair of cars will require a lot more effort.
The following four cars in the Welcome to Japan Festival Playlist will also be available for Car Pass holders on the following dates:
- 1990 Nissan #12 Skyline GT-R (BNR32 Gr. A) JTC: May 19
- 2024 Koenigsegg Gemera: May 28
- 1972 Datsun #269 Attack on the Clock Race 240Z ‘All Carbon Hill Climb Beast’: June 4
- 2008 Honda Civic Type R (FD2): June 11
All in all, there are plenty of new cars to look forward to in the coming weeks as the additions expand. Forza Horizon 6 already has a huge car list and gives players extra reasons to travel and adventure around Japan.
