Like the telegraphGoogle Health is now available as an update to the Fitbit app. Google Health 5.0 on Android introduces a new home screen Quick Access Widget.
This replaces the circular Steps widget with the main focus section at the top of the Today tab. This reflects the stats you set.
The maximum home screen layout is 5×3, the Quick Access Widget has up to six surface sizes. (Tip: You can remove the Steps or Weekly Cardio ring for a tighter interface.) Clicking takes you to the full stats page. You can also minimize this widget to show just one statistic.
The heart in the upper left corner opens the app, you can quickly switch to or update the Health Coach on the right. This widget marks the last update time in the center.
This update also introduces a new Google Health icon and removes the now hardware-only Fitbit branding.
Fitbit Air will require version 5.0 to install when it launches next week. The Google Health application on Android was launched on May 19, and on May 26 it was fully launched.
