Local police in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, in detail unusual tale earlier this week. It is reported that the dog fired a live shotgun in the owner’s car and fired it towards the car of a nearby woman. Thankfully, his injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

A random shooting happened on Saturday, May 23, in one of the local markets.
According to the police, there was a live round in the chamber of the shotgun. The dog then moved from one side of the back seat to the other, causing the gun to go off. When the woman fired the gun, she approached a traffic light a few meters away. Although the woman’s car door suffered the impact of the explosion, the bullet hit her upper right arm, which was standing outside the window.
A family member of the woman took her to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff for treatment, police said. Authorities are still investigating the incident, although they note that it is illegal to drive with a loaded firearm in a vehicle in Nebraska.
