For starters, World Clock now features updated icons to describe the weather. Google has replaced the monochrome icons the app used to use with new, colorful icons to pop almost instantly. These icons were also recently launched It’s rolling out to the Pixel Weather app for some users.

Along with new icons, there are minor tweaks to the alarm screen. In both versions, the clock is moved up a bit, one with scrolling and buttons to turn off or snooze alarms. This creates an even distance between the watch itself, the label and the controls.

At the same time, the slider has also been moved down to the bottom of the screen, making it easier to reach with your thumb. This should come in handy when you wake up in the morning, still slightly sleepy, with just one hand to reach for the phone to turn off the alarm or snooze, though you can expect the change to mess with your muscle memory either way. The change does not apply to buttons.

As we mentioned, these changes are already implemented with version 8.6 of the Clock app and preferably after updating the app Google Play Store.
