We’re down to the last weekend of May, which means all shows that premiered on or after June 1 will compete at the 2027 Emmys, rather than the 2026 ceremony in the fall. Note that June’s high-profile shows, including Cape Fear On Apple TV and Dragon House on HBO Maxare the ones to pay attention to.
Not sure if these new shows debuting this week will be nominated at the 2026 Emmys. Nevertheless, a few shows caught my eye, including my top pick of the week, the Spider-Man show featuring an eccentric Hollywood actor. Other notable shows include the return of a Tina Fey ensemble comedy and an Apple TV spin-off to the beloved sci-fi drama.

Crazy boys season 2
Fun crime comedy
Crazy Boys It was one of the surprise shows of 2025. Created by Abdullah Saeed, Crazy Boys is a crime comedy about two brothers – Mir Dar (Asif Ali) and Raj Dar (Sagar Sheikh) who are thrown into the world of crime after the death of their father. Most likely, the duo now have to look after their father’s drug empire Dark DarCo, a successful ring of madmen.
Season 2 finds Mir and Dar loving their newfound wealth, but now they have to learn how to launder their money better. With the help of Lucky (Poorna Jagannathan), the boys go into business with eccentric casino owner Max Sugar, played by the hilarious Fred Armisen. What I appreciate Crazy Boys is that it embraces its comedic roots. This is a real comedy – you can’t help but laugh at these absurd situations.

Good girl guide to crime season 2
A new mystery for Pip
Netflix loves teenage scumbags. wednesday, Enola Holmes, and Dead Boy Detectives all featured popular teenage heroes engaged in mysterious affairs. Add The Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and its main character, Pippa “Pip” Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers), to the roster of aspiring investigators in the stretch.
In season 1, Pip finds out what happened to Andie Bell, who disappeared without a trace five years ago. In Season 2, Pip deals with the aftermath of solving the case. However, when a key witness in an upcoming trial goes missing, Pip is drawn into another case. The Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a lighter version of a murder mystery. It’s aimed at young adults, but all ages can enjoy it, especially if you enjoy book-to-screen adaptations. .

It is on the list of the most rated programs on television For All HumanityApple TV sci-fi drama presents an alternate version of the events following the space race. After the Soviet Union put astronauts on the moon, the United States tried to do the same, and the space race continued for decades.
Now it’s time to find out what happened during the first Soviet moon landing Star Citya spin-off For All Humanity. Rhys Ifans plays the chief designer of the Soviet space program. It goes back to the beginning, and since it follows the story from the Soviet point of view, you don’t necessarily need to watch it. For All Humanity to enjoy Star City. Frankly, these are the best spin-offs – no homework required. .

Put Fey, Will Forte, Steve Carell, Carrie Kenney-Silver and Colman Domingo in a room and you’re bound to get some laughs. The series is about a group of friends who vacation together throughout the year. The more time they spend together, the more they realize that their lives are far from perfect. Season 2 follows the group after a tragic death, which I won’t reveal at this time. This show gives good vibes. You travel to a beautiful place with funny people and see the fun. Sounds like a grand old time
