For the past two weeks, Motorola has pulled the first-generation Moto Tag from its US website. other “Moto Things” accessories as Moto Watch and Pen Ultra. The tracker is still available for purchase through a direct linkstill discounted to $19.99 for 1 pack here. It still appears in search.
So what’s going on here?
It’s hard to imagine that Motorola doesn’t just want customers to buy the Moto Tag (first generation). a lot most likely, this is an indication that the second-generation model will finally be officially launched in the US.
The Moto Tag 2 was announced about six months ago, and while it’s widely available outside the US, available only through importers and third-party retailers in the country. Motorola hasn’t confirmed any details on the exact release date of the Moto Tag 2 in the US.
The Moto Tag 2 isn’t a massive upgrade from the first generation, but it does offer some welcome improvements like significantly improved battery life.
