Environmental activist Erin Brockovich has a new mission: Bring more transparency to data center construction and the impact those data centers have on nearby communities.

Brockovich added that he is “not making blanket arguments against data centers or artificial intelligence,” but rather “against the pattern of our map documents: projects announced after permits are already secured, developers who don’t return calls, local officials who sign NDAs without their neighbors knowing the project is under review.”
