Pluribus Gotham Wins Breakthrough Drama Series at the Television Awards


Apple TV has added another bonus To manyA growing list of wins, with the series picking up the Gotham Television Award tonight. Here are the details.

Pluribus wins again

Earlier tonight, the Gotham Film and Media Institute announced the winners of this year’s Gotham Television Awards.

There was an Apple TV six nominations in general, including:

  • To many: Major Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Performance in a Drama Series (Rhea Seehorn), Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series (Karolina Wydra)
  • Margo has money problems: Outstanding Lead Performance in a Comedy Series (Elle Fanning), Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Comedy Series (Michelle Pfeiffer)
  • Mr. Scorsese: A series of non-fiction works

With the ceremony over, Apple took home a trophy To many winning Drama Series.

Regarding other nominations:

  • The non-fiction series went to Katrina: Come Hell and High Water
  • Tim Robinson for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Comedy Series (‘Chairman Company‘)
  • Outstanding Lead Performance in a Drama Series is Chase Infiniti (‘The New Testament‘)
  • Best Supporting Performance in a Comedy Series went to Laurie Metcalf (“Big Mistakes”).
  • Best Supporting Performance in a Drama Series Babou Ceesaya (‘Alien: Earth‘)

With today’s award, To many now has 11 total wins, including a Golden Globe, a Critics’ Choice Award, an AFI Award, and two Saturn Awards.
