We hope you haven’t forgotten about Samsung’s Galaxy Fit series, because there are rumors that another one is in the works.
report from SamMobile claims that the Korean OEM may be working on the Galaxy Fit 4. According to the publication, the Fit 4 may debut with an RTOS operating system. This will likely be a marked departure from Google’s Wear OS, which Samsung’s smartwatches typically sport. In addition to this difference, the post claims that the Fit 4 will “improve” on the Fit 3; however, there are currently not many specifications.
Android Central’s Take
I find the rumors about this fitness tracker quite interesting. And by that I mean a lot interesting I’m looking at it from a Galaxy AI perspective. Samsung has come a long way with this over the past few years. It’s probably a guarantee that if the rumor is true, he’ll find a way to apply his AI to this tracker.
The publication then speculates about its release. The Galaxy Fit 4 will reportedly skip Samsung’s summer Unpacked event. The company will choose to debut this new fitness tracker “in a few months.” Currently, the running theory is that it could appear in September can see if it connects to Galaxy S26 FE.
If this is the scenario we’re looking at, perhaps it’s only a matter of time before we see other details surface.
What’s on the way?
The Galaxy Fit 3 has had an interesting life. The fitness tracker debuted In February 2024, with a 1.6-inch screen, smarter workouts and a battery that can last up to 13 days. The Fit 3 stuck to the classic vertical bar design that fitness trackers typically feature. But one thing was missing: a US release. Samsung announced It said the Galaxy Fit 3 will debut in “select regions of Europe, Central and South America, and Asia.”
The US was excluded, and for good reason. According to Samsung, it was evaluating how well its devices have performed “historically” and there wasn’t enough data for a US release. Things have changed as the US finally has the Fit 3 in retail locations Best Buy last year. If we have to wait for another iteration later this year, we’ll have to see how Samsung handles its next device.
Plus, we don’t have to wait for the Fit 3 It opened this summerall our eyes are on Samsung’s next foldable devices. Along with this, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is also expected Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra. If those names seem confusing, that’s because, according to rumors, the “Wide” Fold will take the Fold 8 moniker, leaving behind the names we’re used to with the “Fold 8 Ultra.”
