There are only a few older games that have reached the level of Max Payne. It offered a great story, excellent graphics (for its time) and innovative “tower time” game mechanics. Of course, it was transferred to mobile devices and was one of them best android games in my book. But for a long time, the Android version of the game remained unplayable on newer smartphones due to compatibility issues. Well, everything seems to be fixed now.
A new update for the game was released earlier this month and finally fixed the compatibility issues the game was facing.
According to the game’s reviews, players have been experiencing issues since at least February of last year. But with the new update, these problems have been fixed. The latest reviews of the game state that the game is now running on their new devices without any crashes or lags.
We also tried to install the game on Android phone and it works perfectly. So you can safely spend the $2.99 or if you already bought the game, you can finally play it.
Of course, Max Payne being a huge game when it was released on PC was always going to have a lot of people interested in a mobile version. However, the fact that Rockstar kept the price pretty low and the lack of in-app purchases also helped.
