We’re waiting for Google’s next Pixel Drop, and thanks to some early ads, we now know that Screen Reactions and some Gemini Omni features will be part of this next update.
Last Pixel Drop It was in March 2026 and according to Google’s usual schedule, we’re a little late for the next one. But I guess we’ll go get it nice soon.
People already Droid-Life As part of the next Pixel Drop update, it came across Google ads pointing to Amazon showing “Music Generation” and “Screen Reactions”. These videos appear on Amazon and have appeared over the past few days, but have not been seen elsewhere.
All three feature the “Pixel Drop” branding that Google introduced in March, while previous batches were called “Pixel Feature Drop.”
The only new feature here is, technically, Screen Reactions. Google first introduced this feature here Android Show in Mayand he now available in the latest beta version of Android 17 QPR1. according to to this videoalthough we’ll get it early on Pixel phones presumably get the stable release of Android 17 with this Drop.
The Gemini Omni videos are a bit odd, as both are already available to Pixel users with a paid Gemini subscription. It’s not the first time Google has included Gemini features in a Pixel Drop.
The first video In particular, it highlights the musical generation with the example of asking Gemini to create a country song for “tell my roommate to stop eating my ice cream.”
The latest video More common to the Gemini Omni generations, including the ability to use multiple media types to create video, the ad ends to showcase that it’s all “On Your Pixel.”
There’s no date here, but as mentioned, we’re on Google’s regular schedule for the next Pixel Drop. We’ll likely see more in the coming days.
