AWE (Augmented World Expo) 2026 is underway and Viture is wasting no time introducing AI powered safety glasses.
Viture expands with announcement of Helix: Nvidia’s XR AI-powered safety glasses. Viture states, “Helix is the first wearable terminal designed for industrial, scientific and clinical workflows that brings the user’s first-person perspective to multimodal AI in real-time.” Nvidia played a key role in its AWE 2026 keynote, which highlighted XR AI’s ability to “see” and “reason” in the real world.
Viture Helix does this with a 12MP first-person camera and four microphone arrays. Nvidia’s latest XR AI solution can “train” users on appropriate operating procedures. AI-powered workflows are the name of the game for Viture’s Helix. The company says it continues to work with Nvidia, the Le Cong Lab at Stanford University and the Mengdi Wang Lab at Princeton University. Clinical and life science research environments are just a few areas where its AI-powered workflows are being tested.
Viture and Nvidia have reportedly been working on this new device for the past year, tirelessly improving their AI-powered workflows to provide meaningful assistance in the real world. Elsewhere, the Helix glasses boast “60+ minutes of charging when using the battery”, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Seeing as the Helix is intended for use in the workforce (industrial, clinical), Viture says workers won’t need an assistive device.
Helix works entirely on itself, further increasing its benefits for employees. Viture Helix live demonstrations will take place in the NVIDIA/Dell boardroom at AWE 2026. The device isn’t expected to go on sale until Q1 2027, starting at $600. Individual reservations are available today.

Dr. Deqing Kong has teased a new generation of products that will be at the forefront of quality and eye comfort. Regarding the latter, Viture’s Head of Optics said the company switched to Sony’s panels because they offer “greater color saturation and pixel density”. there is A lot is planned for Viture in the future, especially with select screens, and we may see it soon.
Android Central’s Take
Focusing on security is an interesting idea from Viture. In many ways, this makes the most sense to me. If a pair of glasses can help workers while they are workingWouldn’t that make life a little easier? In these areas such as industry and clinics, employees can store data, measurements, patient details, etc. I would imagine you will get useful information about it. It will be interesting to see how it is received when this comes next year.
